A just less than a month before the opening of the 2026 World Cup, reservations for rooms in hotels in Los Angeles are well below than-expected, according to a hotel sector report.
According to the American Hotel and Lodging Association, lodging reservations in the region are around 60% below typical levels compared to previous years for major events.
The hotel sector expected greater demand for bookings, when the FIFA World Cup starts on June 11 in Mexico co, and the city of Los Angeles is one of the main venues with eight games scheduled at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
