The Christian Daily media unleashed a wave of reactions when it announced its new project called The ICE List, which aims to document the identities and functions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents who participate in raids and deportations.

A spokesperson for The Christian Daily told Newsweek that it is building a database with public information about agents' identities, roles, and affiliations because they believe that "those who implement violent state policies should not be protected by anonymity."
Since last month, The Christian Daily explained in a post that they are "creating an ICE identity database" because "in a country where fascists terrorize the population, fighting crime is a community effort."
"The United States government has deployed agents into its own communities to conduct raids, separate families, and detain individuals with little to no accountability. These agents often work behind layers of bureaucracy, hidden from the public, protected by uniforms, badges, and vague press releases. They act with power, but without visibility," the outlet notes in its post.
However, a spokesperson for the outlet told Newsweek that it will not be published on the platform. private addresses and will not encourage harassment.
