The Department of Justice filed a formal lawsuit against the city of New York, Mayor Eric Adams, and several other city officials to challenge sanctuary city laws in New York.

The lawsuit challenges the so-called Sanctuary City laws that instruct local police not to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

The lawsuit alleges that "New York City's sanctuary policies have allowed dangerous criminals to roam the streets and commit heinous crimes within the community. These policies reflect a deliberate attempt to obstruct federal law enforcement and are therefore preempted by the Supremacy Clause of the United States Constitution," according to a Justice Department press release.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi stated that New York City has released thousands of criminals onto the streets to commit violent crimes against law-abiding citizens because of its sanctuary city policies. I have declared,

If the city of New York doesn't defend the safety of its citizens, we will,” he concluded.

Rafael Cores has the best recommendations for new releases for movies, series and documentaries on screens.

"The history of the Fantastic Four within Marvel is very interesting, because in the 60s when the Marvel publishing house was in tremendous financial trouble, on the verge of bankruptcy, those in charge realized that, let's say, they had to release a product or some characters that were truly successful and it was like the last bullet they had left in the chamber and they bet on the Fantastic Four. The comics were a huge success at the time and really saved the company. Without the Fantastic Four, Marvel probably wouldn't exist today," Rafael Cores explained. He added that "curiously, years later, Marvel Studios didn't have the rights to make movies with these characters, the studio that has made the Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Avengers films with great success over the last two decades, but Fox had them due to legal issues, you know, the rights purchase. Fantastic Four films were made with some box office success, but not as great a success with the public and especially not with the impact of these characters I just mentioned now or Thor, for example, not in recent years, which are Marvel's blockbuster films."
