US aid continues to flow to Ukraine amidst the war with Russia. The Biden administration on Tuesday announced the sending of additional military aid worth US $ 400 million (about Rs 3200 crore) to Ukraine. Through this, Ukraine will get many modern weapons for war with Russia, including air defense systems, cannons and ammunition for armored vehicles.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement that after the approval of President Biden, I am releasing the amount of 43rd military aid to Ukraine. This aid package will allow the valiant army of Ukraine to gain strength in the battlefield and be able to regain its autonomous region, thereby ensuring the safety of its citizens.

Blinken said Russia could end the war at any time by withdrawing troops from Ukraine and stopping attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilians. But until it does, America and our allies will stand by Ukraine for as long as we can.

Significantly, in June this year also, the US had released a $500 million security assistance package for Ukraine, whose purpose was to prepare Ukraine for security and defence. Through these two packages, America is now trying to increase Ukraine's counterattack capabilities against Russia.
