The California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrested a driver who was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and found with an open beer and eight empty cans in his vehicle, in the town of Victorville, in San Bernardino County.
The arrest occurred during the CHP's “Maximum Vigilance Period,” in which an increased number of officers patrolled California highways to stop drunk motorists.
The CHP implemented the most recent operation on California highways from 6:00 p.m. from Saturday the 20th until 5:59 a.m. on Sunday, June 21.
