Trump supported the creation of low-cost gas stations in several cities
The first low-cost gasoline stations backed by Donald Trump are already operating in two states in the country under the name "Freedom Fuel"
With the aim of offering citizens gasoline at a cheaper price, President Donald Trump supported the launch of the so-called “Freedom Fuel” gas stations, which were enabled in some cities in the country.
According to the Freedom Fuel network's website, 20 of those gas stations are located in Pennsylvania, while another five are in New Jersey.
So far, it has emerged that Freedom Fuel Network is a private company, which operates with its own resources and without receiving any type of subsidies granted by the federal government.
The White House published a message on platform
“The FIRST Freedom Fuel Network gas station has arrived in Philadelphia, reducing the price of gas to $3.47 for our 47th president.
"President Trump is leading the charge to lower gas prices this summer, which means you'll have more money in your pocket," he said.
The publication is accompanied by a video where several citizens express their gratitude to the head of the nation for his efforts to try to keep the cost of gasoline a few cents lower.
According to information released by the American Automobile Association (AAA), in the two aforementioned entities the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline is approximately $3.98 and $3.86 dollars, respectively; while the national average is $3.79 dollars.
Since February 28, when Donald Trump decided to declare war on Iran, the Strait of Hormuz closed the passage to ships loaded with oil and as a result an energy crisis occurred, since as the price of crude oil and its derivatives rose, the value of most food also increased, affecting the pockets of millions of families globally.
Although Trump has tried to end the war in which he remains immersed, the Tehran government refuses to sign an agreement and constantly opens and closes traffic on the part of the coastline shared with Oman, causing a variation in the price of a barrel of crude oil, which destabilizes most of the world's financial markets.
