A Nicaraguan student remains in ICE custody at the Adelanto Processing Center after being arrested during an immigration appointment on June 10, a day after graduating with honors from high school.
Wilber Urbina García, 18, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in downtown Los Angeles, a few hours after celebrating his graduation.
On June 9, Wilber graduated with honors from Jordan High School in South Los Angeles with dreams of attending El Camino College to pursue a medical degree.
