Assam Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2023: Office of the Director of Elementary Education ( DEE) , Assam Lower Primary (LPS) Schools and Upper Primary (UPS) Schools has issued a notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Teachers. DEE Assam Assistant Teacher Registration will start from February 17, 2023 at the official website dee.assam.gov.in. Candidates have to apply online on or before March 01, 2023.
Office of the Director of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has a total of 5320 vacancies for teachers, including 3887 vacancies for assistant teachers in lower primary schools and 1433 vacancies for assistant teachers and science teachers in upper primary schools. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill them.
Educational qualification
Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Teacher for Assam Lower Primary Schools must have 12th pass with at least 50 percent marks. At the same time, B.El.Ed or Diploma in Education with at least 50 percent marks and passed ATET / CTET.
Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary must have completed graduation from UGC recognized universities. Along with this, for Diploma in Elementary Education B.Ed (Special Education), D.Ed (Special Education) and UPS (Science and Maths), ATET or CTET should be passed.
Assistant teachers for upper primary will get a salary of Rs 14000 to 70000 if selected. While assistant teachers for lower primary will get a salary of Rs 14000 to 70000 if selected. The age limit of the candidates applying for these posts should be between 18 to 40 years.
