A Hispanic woman, mother of five, died Tuesday night after being hit by an alleged drunk driver when the victim was crossing a street in the Pacoima neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Jessica Flores, 37, died at the scene of the accident, leaving her family and community devastated by the accident.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported that the crash occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. in the 12600 block of Branford Street, near the intersection of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, in a dimly lit industrial area of Pacoima.
