Kimberly Moya Case: Mother of young woman missing in Mexico claims that a sect would be involved
Mother of Kimberly Moya denounces that a sect would be involved in her daughter's disappearance
Jaqueline Gonzalez, mother of Kimberly Hilary Moya Gonzalez, the young woman who disappeared on October 2nd, demanded that the Attorney General's Office (FGR) take over the case, following new findings that could be linked to a sect.
Kimberly's mother also requested that Caminos y Puentes Federales (Capufe) provide the surveillance camera footage to trace the vehicle involved in her daughter's disappearance.
New Line of Investigation: The Link to Sects and Organized Crime
Kimberly, 16, was last seen in the municipality of Naucalpan, State of Mexico, when she left her home to go to an internet cafe. The young woman's mother's anguish intensified upon discovering that the case might have connections to organized crime groups. According to Jaqueline Gonzalez, the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico has focused solely on certain properties without effectively expanding the investigation, which, she says, has slowed the search for her daughter. Kimberly's mother also requested an investigation into the relatives of Rafael “N” and Pablo “N”, two individuals arrested in connection with Kimberly's disappearance. According to the mother, the suspects were in contact with the family on the same day the young woman disappeared, which led to the discovery of a temple linked to a sect, of which Rafael “N” was allegedly a minister.
Sect Linked to Kimberly Moya's Disappearance
The case took a surprising turn when it was revealed that Rafael “N” might be linked to the Marian Trinitarian Spiritualism (ETM) movement, a sect known for its mediumistic trance rituals and controversial doctrine. According to the young woman's parents and their lawyer, the analysis of calls made by one of the main suspects, Gabriel Rafael, connects him to the sect's temple.
During the searches carried out, symbols related to the religious movement were found, in addition to suspicious remains, such as bloodstains on mattresses and objects of a mysterious nature, including children's clothing and toys buried in the same place.
Jaqueline Gonzalez denounced that the temple in question, run by the mother of Rafael “N”, does not have typical characteristics of a place of worship, but rather appears to be a center for activities linked to unconventional practices.
Marian Trinitarian Spiritualism: What is it?
Marian Trinitarian Spiritualism (ETM), founded in Mexico City by Roque Rojas in the 19th century, combines elements of Christianity and European spiritualism. Its doctrine states that Rojas was the “Mexican Messiah” and that his “Third Era” continues the work of Moses and Jesus. In their rituals, the “mediums” or “pedestals” claim to channel the spirits of religious figures, such as Jehovah, Mary, or Elijah, to communicate spiritual messages to the faithful. The sect is characterized by its pyramid structure, where each temple operates autonomously and establishes its own rules. Among its most representative symbols is the “Watchful Eye of God,” and many of its temples perform rituals called “teachings,” which often include physical manifestations such as convulsions and trances. Kimberly Moya's family demands a thorough investigation. The family's lawyer, Jairo Ocampo, emphasized that the evidence discovered during the searches and the analysis of phone calls suggests that the case has broader ramifications that require specialized expert analysis. “Call and GPS tracking indicates the involvement of other people, and a link to organized crime groups cannot be ruled out,” he stated. For her part, Kimberly's mother insisted that the Attorney General's Office (FGR) must take control of the case, given the nature of the findings. "We want a thorough investigation, not just based on a handful of pieces of evidence. Kimberly deserves justice, and we need to know the truth," said Jaqueline Gonzalez through tears. Marches and Protests for Justice: As the case of Kimberly Moya continues to generate alarm, family and friends of the young woman have called for various marches and blockades at strategic points in Mexico City, such as the Periferico and the International Airport, to demand that the authorities take decisive action in the investigation. Authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the family's request for the FGR to take over the case.
