Actress of Pasion de Gavilanes confirms their separation after more than 10 years of marriage
The beautiful Colombian actress separated two and a half years ago, but it was only now that she shared it with her fans
Colombian actress Paola Rey, 45 years old, who played Jimena Elizondo in 'Pasian de Gavilanes', surprised everyone with the announcement she made through her social networks.
Through her Instagram stories, the South American celebrity detailed that she is now separated from Juan Carlos Vargas, to whom she was married for more than a decade.
Although their separation is not recent, but occurred more than two years ago, it was only now that the actress shared the news with her followers.
"Two and a half years ago we mutually decided to divorce agreement, the decision to separate as a couple," reads the beginning of her text.
She then detailed that since then they have both strived to have a relationship as healthy as possible for the sake of the love they once had for each other, but also for the children they share and who are their main driving force.
"Since then, we have gone through a time of transformation guided by respect, affection and our unconditional commitment to our children, although we no longer share life as a couple, we remain a united family. Our priority has been and will continue to be their emotional well-being, their stability and their happiness," she said.
In the final stretch of her statement, she shared the reasons why she decided not to speak before her separation and the reasons that led them to continue their lives in different directions.
"Today we feel it is the right time to share this decision publicly. You have seen us and will continue to see us together. Accompanying our children with love in each important stage of their lives.
Our friendship has strengthened, and the bond that unites us as parents remains intact. We remain committed to the most valuable thing we share: being present, responsible, and loving parents," the beautiful actress concluded about the love story they began to build almost two decades ago.
