Adnan Sami is a well-known singer of Bollywood. He has sung all the best songs in Bollywood and has made people crazy because of his voice. Everyone knows that Singer was once a citizen of Pakistan. After giving up the citizenship of Pakistan, he had to face many criticisms for adopting the citizenship of India. The people of Pakistan had raised many questions on Adnan adopting Indian citizenship. Along with this, many allegations were also leveled against him. 

Actually, the people of Pakistan said that Singer has done all this for money. Recently, Singer has spoken openly on this. He said during an interview that some people of Pakistan say that they have chosen India because they get more money there. He further said that do you have any idea about my family background? Do you know that money has never been so important in my life. He said that the one above has his hand on my head. I am born in very affluent and good family. There has never been any shortage of money with me or the family. He said that if only money was needed which I had earned in Pakistan, I would not have left it.  

Adnan further said that sometimes it is difficult for people to understand even a small thing, that I love India. India has always felt like my home and that is why I have taken citizenship here. He said that he loves the love he has received from India as an artist.

Adnan while talking about his citizenship said that it was very difficult for me to get it. He said that the way political differences have existed between the two countries, it was difficult for himself to get citizenship here. He was also told that what does a singer have to do with politics. 

Singer took a long time of 18 years to get Indian citizenship. He said that his application to become a citizen of India was rejected twice and after that when he submitted the original citizenship, he was not a citizen of any country for about one and a half years.
