Let us tell you, Farooqui has been in controversies in his show for laughing at Hindu gods and goddesses and making indecent remarks about them. The controversy about him started last year from Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. Here he had allegedly said objectionable things against Hindu gods in his 'standup comedy show'. After this, BJP leaders created a ruckus in the program and demanded their arrest. The police arrested Farooqui and sent him to jail. Later, on the orders of the Supreme Court, Farooqui was released from jail after a month.
