Kristi Noem attacks the program "South Park" for mocking her appearance
Kristi Noem is upset about how her face was portrayed in the animated series
Kristi Lynn Arnold Noem, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), acknowledged being upset by the way the writers of the television series "South Park mocked her during the last episode that aired.
In the episode, titled I Went Crazy , due to the education cuts ordered by the Trump administration, the character of Mr. Mackay school counselor at South Park Elementary School ends up unemployed, a situation that forces him to join the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
During his training process as an ICE recruit, the former school counselor and a large group of his colleagues have the opportunity to watch a video in which Kristi Noem exhorts them to act with rigor when fulfilling their duties.
Ironically, the former governor of South Dakota appears in several occasions shooting helpless dogs with a gun, this in reference to how she described in a book having taken the lives of two pets owned by her family.
To further mock the official, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of South Park , show Noem's face melting from her efforts, a situation that forces her to be repeatedly made up in order to hide her imperfections.
In fact, this last thing seems to have been what angered Kristi Noem the most who, during her participation in Glenn Beck's podcast, reproached her detractors for not focusing on her performance in government and instead attack her for her appearance.
It's lazy to constantly mock women for their appearance. Only liberals and extremists do that. If they wanted to criticize my work, go ahead, but clearly they can't, they just pick something as insignificant as that, she said.
Towards the end of her administration as governor of South Dakota, Kristi Noem was involved in several scandals due to,both the statements she used to make against the leaders of the tribes settled in the entity, as well as the flights she often made to Texas to have her teeth fixed.
However, her affection shown by President Donald Trump led him to appoint her to head the DHS, where she already made the mistake of attributing to an immigrant having threatened to kill the head of the nation through a letter, which was later discarded, since the subject did not even know how to write.
