After several weeks of back and forth as a result of his breakup with Laura Flores, journalist Lalo Salazar decided to break the silence and clarify once and for all the rumors surrounding the reason behind this decision.

In an interview with the program "Venga la Alegria" while covering the streets of the Mexico City, the famous man confessed that although the relationship came to an end, he still maintains affection for the actress for the lessons she taught him during the time they shared together.

"It's over, but I love her very much, I learned a lot from her, she's a great woman, a great mother, a great person, and a great professional; when it's over, you get sad, but I'm sure things will go very well for her," he explained on camera after trying to avoid the topic.

When questioned about the actress's alleged violent reaction at a restaurant that allegedly ended with her being threatened with a knife, the journalist did not hesitate to categorically deny this version of events: “No, no, no, none of that, that's a lie,” he said.

Likewise, Lalo Salazar described as false the version that claimed he was the one who decided to end the romance just a few months after it began: "No, we both came to an agreement; but telling Laurita, I learned a lot from her," he explained.

The news of the breakup between Laura Flores and Lalo Salazar came to light at the beginning of June, when the small screen star announced it through an emotional post on his Instagram account.

"It is with deep sadness that I inform you that my relationship with Mr. Eduardo Salazar is over (...) Eduardo is a great human being, a gentleman in every sense of the word. He deserves my respect and I will always be grateful to him for having made me happy, even though it lasted such a short time," he confessed.

With his most recent statements, the journalist puts an end to the accusations against him, as well as the narrative that has been generated on social media since the announcement of their separation.
