Natalia Jimenez supports Cazzu and asks her to fight for custody of Inti
After being approached by the media, Natalia Jimenez advised Cazzu after her interview on Se Regalan Dudas
The Argentine singer Cazzu has found herself immersed in a new controversy after revealing the significant legal obstacles she faces from her ex-partner, the singer Christian Nodal, father of her daughter Inti.
During an emotional appearance on the podcast "Se Regalan Dudas," the rapper confessed to feeling intimidated and controlled by Nodal's legal team when trying to arrange travel permits for her daughter. Natalia Jimenez was questioned about this by the Mexican media, and the singer responded honestly.
Cazzu's statements did not go unnoticed by Spanish singer Natalia Jimenez, who, based on her own experience, gave her firm and public advice.
The former vocalist of 'La Quinta Estacion', immersed in her own legal battle for custody of her daughter, recommended that Cazzu not give in to the pressure.
The singer of 'El Sol No Regresa' was even clearer and more forceful: "You can't let a man tell you where you can and can't travel with your daughter. You gave birth to her."
Natalia Jimenez's experience
Natalia Jimenez knows what she's talking about. For three years, she has been waging a tough legal battle against her ex-husband, Daniel Trueba, for custody of their daughter.
The artist revealed that after their separation, she was defamed and falsely accused of having addiction problems and of being unfit to care for the minor. “He defamed me, saying I was bipolar, an alcoholic, and a drug addict, and in the end, the opposite was proven,” she said at the time.
In fact, her battle bore fruit last August, when she obtained a significant victory in court after a drug test by her ex-husband was revealed to have tested positive for marijuana at levels far above the permitted limit.
This progress put her one step closer to obtaining the full custody she has been seeking since 2021. In addition, in December 2022, she had already obtained judicial authorization to travel freely with her daughter outside the United States.
What did Cazzu say on 'Se Regalan Dudas'?
With a visible feeling of frustration,Cazzu recounted on the podcast a recent mediation that left her devastated.
“I'm a single mother, and the other day I was in mediation… It's been a long time since I felt this bad. I had that horrible feeling of saying, 'The world is devastating,'” she shared.
The artist, known as the 'Jefa del trap,' detailed how Nodal's lawyer explicitly warned her that his client “is fully aware that he can revoke that permission at any time.”
According to Cazzu, the look in her legal representative's eyes conveyed a powerful message: “We have control over you and your daughter.”
These words, she stated, made her feel deeply violated, to the point that she prefers not to fight. “So I choose not to fight the battle. I give up before I even try. For me, for my dreams, because I want to put all my energy into my career,” she explained, resigned.
