Sara Maldonado remembers her marriage with Billy Rovzar
The Veracruz native confessed that, despite not believing in marriage, she got married to the producer seven months after meeting him.
Actress Sara Maldonado decided to break her silence on a topic she had kept out of the spotlight: her marriage and divorce from producer Billy Rovzar . What did she say? Read on to find out.
Fourteen years after her separation from the writer, the star of melodramas such as “Aurora” and “Storm in Paradise” opened up her memories to talk about never-before-revealed secrets from their romance, including the fact that she didn't want to get married.
“I don't believe in marriage, I've always said that, I wouldn't get married again, the truth is I never really wanted to get married, but I lived it and I'm grateful to have lived it, I'm not complaining,” she declared during her appearance on Yordi Rosado's radio show.
Maldonado also confessed that her marriage to Rozvar took place just seven months after they began their romance at the insistence of the celebrity.
“I never wanted to get married (…) Billy and I got married seven months after meeting each other and precisely because he told me: 'If you don't marry me right now and I let more time pass, you won't want to get married,' because I never wanted to get married, it was like he caught me in love, ” she explained forcefully.
However, the wave of confessions didn't end there. Sara Maldonado indicated that while she doesn't plan to walk down the aisle with another partner, she has received several proposals since her divorce: "I've been given three or four engagement rings, but it's the phenomenon of when you say no," she added.
The small screen star concluded her talk by making it clear that she is currently enjoying her personal and professional growth, so she hasn't given any thought to starting a romantic relationship.
“I'm currently single, I'm fine, I'm happy, I'm calm, I'm at peace. I've had thousands of relationships throughout my life, so right now I feel good like this, focused on my work ,” she concluded.
