Actors Abhishek Banerjee and Barkha Singh will be seen enthralling the audience with their performances in the upcoming web series 'The Great Weddings of Munnes'. The trailer of the much-awaited show was launched digitally within a few days, winning the hearts of the audience with the fun timing of the cast of the show.

Produced by talented Bollywood director Raaj Shaandilyaa and directed by Sunil Subramani, The Great Weddings is a comedy series that depicts the incredible journey of Munnes i.e. Abhishek Banerjee's marriage. The ten-episode series, which will premiere on Voot Select on August 4, is based on the simple premise of Munnes' innocent quest to find her forever happily ever after.

Abhishek Banerjee falls in love with 'Sarva Guna Sampoorna' Mahi and can't believe her luck when she makes the first move. When the show starts resembling a sentimental romantic classic and all goes well, Pandit's prediction adds a new horror twist to the love story. From here Munnes follows a roller coaster ride with a perfect blend of life story of Mahi and Vichitra Yadav, who embark on a mission to find a wife for Munnes!

According to the information received, in this roller coaster journey, Abhishek Banerjee aka Munnes Yadav has changed 5 different looks of the cities he has traveled in search of his bride. This series has been shot in Mathura, Agra, Rohtak, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Mumbai.
