Hispanic television continues to make moves to try and capture the audience's attention, and now it's Univision's turn.

The network decided to change the time slot of 'Sientese Quien Pueda', one of its flagship shows, in order to compete with 'En Casa con Telemundo', the afternoon program of Telemundo, which a few months ago extended its duration from one to two hours.

The announcement of the change was made by the station this Monday, where it was detailed that starting August 4, the show headed by Chiquibaby and Jorge Bernal will begin airing from 1 to 3 pm, instead of 2 to 3 pm.

So far it is unknown how long the change will last, if it will be permanent or if it will only be temporary, but what is a fact is that during the month of August the traditional soap operas will not be broadcast in the time slot that goes from 1 to 2 pm.

Telemundo made the same change 11 months ago

Univision's reaction comes 11 months after Telemundo extended the runtime of 'En Casa de Telemundo' to two hours with the departure of 'Acercate a Rocio', a show that not only wasn't managing to maintain its morning ratings, but was actually losing them, which is why the change was made and it turned out to be beneficial for Telemundo's afternoons.
