The legal process for theft of the singer Beyoncé has advanced for her benefit. And it's recently confirmed that, the man re accused of ripping hard disks with unreleased music in July 2025, pleaded guilty to avoid a jury trial.

According to reporting from Fox 5 Atlanta, cited by Variety, Kelvin Evans appeared in the F.County Court ulton and pleaded guilty to charges of burglary and entering a vehicle with the intent to commit robbery.

Along with Kevin Evans' statement, the evidence presented by the case authorities was taken into account. In a joint presentation, the prosecutors supported the charges by making reference a surveillance video showing the defendant driving in a parking lot in Atlanta and parking next to the vehicle from which the hard drives with the artist's information were stolen.

In this sense, they explained that the two suitcases allegedly removed by the subject were taken to a building inhabited by one of their relatives: “They never returned to "apparently", it was said in the Court. In addition, Evans' niece declared to the police that she had received an iPhone and several chargers that were among the stolen objects.

This is how Kevin Evans, 40 years old, was sentenced to five years in prison. However, only two of them will be under arrest and the rest in l conditional liberty. In addition to this verdict he was ordered to stay away from the victims and from the place where the robbery would have taken place.

The theft that led to this sentence took place in July 2025, when Beyoncé's choreographer and one of her dancers went to the authorities to report the theft of belongings found in their car.

In the report it was detailed that the thieves stole USB memories with unreleased music from the interpreter of “Crazy in Love”, as well as recording plans for her live show and lists of previous and upcoming songs to be released by the famous singer.
