Harry Styles collapsed during a concert in London due to the heat
The British singer alarmed his fans after suffering a physical accident amid temperatures that touched 38 ° C in the British capital
A night that promised to be an absolute celebration at the iconic Wembley Stadium turned into moments of anguish for more than 80,000 people. British singer Harry Styles collapsed on stage during his recent presentation, a victim of the intense heat wave that is hitting the United Kingdom.
The incident, which immediately went viral on social media, occurred when the 32-year-old artist was performing as part of his 12-night “Together, Together” world tour residency.
Videos captured by attendees show how Styles, after making a movement and attempting to drink water, began to have difficulty breathing, visibly choked and tried to loosen his tie while hitting his chest with his hand. Seconds later, he fell to his knees and was lying on the ground.
For a period of approximately 17 seconds that caused alarm among the crowd, the former One Direction member remained face up trying to catch his breath in an agitated manner.
Despite the shock and the apparent lack of immediate reaction from his team, the musician managed to stand up on his own. Showing remarkable resilience, he waved to reassure the audience and continued with the show before leaving.
The climate emergency in London has reached critical levels this week, with temperatures reaching 37.5°C last Friday. Faced with this extreme scenario, Wembley organizers had implemented contingency measures, such as issuing constant hydration announcements over public address systems and reducing the price of bottled water to half its commercial value to protect fans.
Despite the scare, the artist's residency is still underway. Styles is scheduled to return to the Wembley stage for his next performances on June 29, as well as July 1, 3 and 4, before continuing his international tour to Latin America and the United States.
So far, his representatives have not issued official statements regarding his current health status.
