Britney Spears on the difficult moments she lived: “They cut my wings”
Following recent statements from her ex-husband, the American singer revealed that she suffered brain damage due to traumatic experiences
Britney Spears reflected deeply on the difficult moments she has experienced throughout her life, especially surrounding her health and emotional well-being.
In a recent post on Instagram, the American singer revealed that she suffered brain damage due to traumatic experiences, including a four-month period of confinement in which she was denied freedom and privacy.
“I had a traumatic experience, as some of you know from the end of my book, where I tell you that for 4 months I no longer had my private door and I was illegally forced to not use my feet or body to go anywhere (…) That did more than hurt my body…”, the singer assured.
Spears confessed that there are many more painful experiences that she has not spoken about. “There is SO MUCH I didn't share in my book and there are still things at this very moment that I have kept hidden because it is incredibly painful and sad…” she wrote.
Britney described this damage as a blow to her logic and conscience, but expressed gratitude for being alive and able to continue her recovery through dancing.
“My wings were taken away and the brain damage happened a long time ago… Of course, I have moved on from that difficult time in my life and I am blessed to be alive…” she said.
In her post, the singer also seriously addressed the accusations and false news that have surfaced about her in recent days, particularly in the context of her ex-husband Kevin Federline's memoir.
Britney stood by her truth and stated her intention to provide “substance” amid the controversy, steadily protecting her story and her children.
“It's fun to tell stories at this point because all of this can sound so silly, but with all the garbage that is literally being said about me, I thought, 'why not bring substance to the table?'” Spears concluded her post.
