Dua Lipa and Callum Turner get married!
The Grammy-winning singer and the actor, known for his role in “Masters of the Air,” sealed their love in a private ceremony in London
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are officially married. The couple, who began their romance in January 2024, took the big step this Sunday, May 31, at an intimate wedding in London, according to photographs obtained by The Sun and The Daily Mail.
The low-key event brought together a small circle of family and friends, who threw confetti and flower petals to celebrate the union. For the occasion, Lipa wore an elegant ivory skirt suit, accessorized with white gloves and a wide-brimmed hat. Turner, for his part, opted for a classic navy double-breasted suit with a matching shirt and tie.
The news comes after different media outlets pointed out that the couple had brought forward the date of their wedding.
A celebration that will continue in Italy
According to an April report from The Sunday Times, the wedding festivities are expected to continue beyond the civil ceremony. Everything indicates that the couple is planning a two-day celebration in Palermo, Sicily, where they would gather more loved ones to continue celebrating their love.
The wedding was not a surprise to the couple's followers. Lipa confirmed her engagement to Turner in her British Vogue 2025 cover story. “Yes, we are engaged,” the singer declared in July.
"It's very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever is a really special feeling." Dua Lipa
About Lipa and Turner's relationship
Lipa and Turner's relationship became public in January 2024, when they were seen together at the “Masters of the Air” premiere afterparty in Los Angeles. Since then, they have become one of the most beloved couples on Instagram, sharing snapshots of their vacations and their daily lives.
Beyond social media, the “Levitating” singer has spoken openly about the joy she has found in this relationship. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar UK last August, Lipa confessed: "I love love. It's a beautiful thing. It's a really inspiring thing. You find yourself falling so intensely all the time in the best way possible."
The singer added: "I've spent a lot of time being secretive or protecting my heart, so I'm letting that feeling go. I have to allow love. I'm happier than ever."
