Emiliano Aguilar explodes against Nodal: “I have a video that destroys your career”
Angela Aguilar's brother lashed out at the Sonora native after the release of the music video
The tension between the Aguilar dynasty and Christian Nodal reached a point of no return. Emiliano Aguilar, Angela Aguilar's brother, issued a strong warning against his brother-in-law, claiming to possess audiovisual material that could end the Mexican regional music singer's artistic career. The conflict, which has been escalating on social media, erupted after the release of the music video for "Un vals," Nodal's latest single. The controversy arose due to the choice of model Dagna Kills, whose physical features have been pointed out by internet users as a deliberate mix of Angela Aguilar and Cazzu, the singer's ex-girlfriend. During a live broadcast, Emiliano called the video a "lack of respect" for both his sister and the Argentine rapper. "Uploading a video combining two women who have struggled because of that person... you're really out of line, bro," Emiliano lashed out. However, what began as aesthetic criticism turned into a direct threat. Emiliano challenged Nodal to a physical fight and revealed the existence of compromising evidence. "I have a video, bro, that will destroy your entire career," he declared. He also accused the Sonora native of making threatening calls to him while drunk in the early morning hours: "Have some balls. Don't call me at 3:40 all drunk. If you want to know what that video is, answer me." For his part, Nodal has tried to distance himself from the controversy surrounding the music video, arguing that he doesn't have total control over his image or production decisions, while the video's director, Juan Barbazan, assumed responsibility for the casting. Despite this, Nodal's silence in the face of Emiliano's threats has fueled speculation about the content of the alleged video that could change the course of his career.
