A Latina singer was shot and killed early Saturday morning in the San Fernando Valley, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported Monday.

Maria de la Rosa, known as "Delarosa", 22, died from the shooting that occurred shortly before At 1:30 am this Saturday, November 22, on Bryant Street, east of Tampa Avenue, in the Northridge neighborhood, authorities said. "Witnesses described seeing two suspects approach a vehicle parked on Bryant Street. Several shots were fired at the victims who were parked in the area in their vehicle," LAPD officials said in a statement released Monday morning.
