Maluma revealed where his second child will be born
The Paisa singer took advantage of the launch of his new album, Loco x Volver, to announce that the next member of his family will be born in Colombia
The urban singer Maluma once again moved his millions of followers by revealing one of the most intimate and long-awaited decisions about his family life.
During the exclusive presentation of his new album, titled Loco x Volver, held in the iconic Plaza Botero in Medellín, the Paisa artist confirmed that his second child with his partner, Susana Gómez, will be born in Colombia.
The interpreter made it clear that, despite having the possibility of choosing any place in the world for the birth of his children, his priority is to keep his roots and sense of belonging to his native country alive.
"I wouldn't change the love I feel for Colombia for absolutely anything. That's why my daughter Paris was born in Medellín, she eats arepa with cheese and blood sausage, and God willing, our next baby will be born in Medellín, obviously," said the singer before an excited audience that applauded his firm commitment to his land.
The decision reaffirms the position that the artist has held since the birth of his first-born, París Londoño Gómez. For Maluma, watching his family grow in the capital of Antioquia is a fundamental part of his personal and professional history.
The announcement immediately generated a wave of positive reactions on social networks, where thousands of followers praised the singer for his “paisa” pride. “Paisa like dad” and “Nothing more beautiful than being born on this earth” were some of the comments that flooded the platforms after the event.
Recently, Maluma surprised by announcing, through his social networks, that he will become a father for the second time with his partner, Susana Gómez.
