Montserrat Oliver reveals she was a victim of racism in the United States for being Mexican
Montserrat Oliver confessed that not only she, but her sister was also a victim of racism in the United States
Mexican presenter Montserrat Oliver, who has worked for years alongside Yolanda Andrade, surprised everyone with her recent testimony in which she shared that she was a victim of racism in the United States.
Montserrat revealed this in a conversation with the program 'Venga la Alegria', where she elaborated on Details about the incident she experienced with a woman simply because she is Mexican.
The TV host recounted that the woman in question refused to sell her one of her horses, even though everything was ready to close the deal.
“Maybe she said, 'No, well, she's Mexican. I'm not selling it to her.' I don't know what was going through her head,” Montserrat shared.
Despite the woman's refusal to do any kind of business with her, Montserrat managed, and thanks to an acquaintance born in the United States, she was able to get the horse she so desired.
“I was subjected to that racism, and a friend's neighbor bought it. I told an American, 'You buy it, say it's for you,' and now I have it. The point is, I have the horse,” Montserrat revealed about the equine that now lives on her ranch in Texas.
Despite the case of racism and discrimination she suffered, the presenter shared that She has no plans to take legal action against her attacker, stating that it is not the right time. "As things stand, I look better when I'm quiet," the presenter said resignedly. She is not the only member of her family to have been a victim of racism in the United States, as her sister has also experienced a similar situation.
