The singer and influencer Yeri Mua publicly denounced that she has received death threats directed at her and her family, allegedly from followers of the streamer known as Lonche de Huevito, whose real name is Victor Ordonez.
This conflict caused a strong stir on social networks and led Yeri Mua to request support from the federal government to guarantee her safety.
The threats occurred after Yeri Mua and Lonche were involved in a public controversy on social media.
According to the singer, Lonche had repeatedly harassed her, so she responded by exposing an alleged infidelity between the streamer and a friend.
Yeri Mua's actions unleashed the fury of Lonche's fan group, calling themselves FES, who began sending intimidating messages, death threats, and even left banners with explicit warnings in Tijuana, where Yeri was planning to perform at the Tijuana National Fair.
The threats the singer has received include images of firearms and messages against her family members, including her younger brother.
Despite the threats, the singer assured that she is not afraid because she claims not to owe anyone anything, but she did denounce the digital violence and fear that have tried to instill in her are real.
Likewise, Yeri Mua publicly asked President Claudia Sheinbaum to intervene to protect her and requested that an investigation be opened against Lonche and his followers.
Despite the tension, Yeri Mua declared that she will not cancel her concerts or her artistic work.
