Many new schemes have been launched today to increase the capacity of Chhattisgarh in energy production and to improve the health sector. PM Modi said, today the whole world is watching the Indian model of rapid pace of modern development as well as poor welfare. He is being appreciated. You all have seen that a few days ago, during the G-20 summit, national presidents of big countries had come to Delhi. All have been influenced by India's development and poor welfare efforts. Today, big organizations of the world are talking about learning from India's success. This is because today every state and every area of the country is getting equal priority in development. As Deputy Chief Minister Singhdev said that we have to move the country forward together. This area of Raigarh in Chhattisgarh is also a witness to this.
PM said that Chhattisgarh is like a power house for the development of the country. The country will get the energy to move forward only when its power houses work with their full strength. With this thinking, in the last 9 years we have worked continuously for the multifaceted development of Chhattisgarh. We are seeing the results of that vision and those policies today. Today, big schemes are being completed in every field by the Central Government in Chhattisgarh. The foundation of new projects is being laid. You know I had come to Raipur in July itself for development projects. During that time, the foundation stone of projects like Visakhapatnam to Raipur Economic Corridor and Raipur to Dhanbad Economic Corridor was laid.
Many common national highways were also gifted and now today a new chapter of railway development of Chhattisgarh is being written. This rail network will reduce the congestion in Jharsuguda-Bilaspur area of Bilaspur-Mumbai rail line. Similarly, other railway lines are being started. Building a rail corridor. He will give new heights to the industrial development of Chhattisgarh. When the work on the ground is completed, then the people of Chhattisgarh will get convenience and new dimensions of employment will be created here. Due to the efforts of the Central Government, the strength of Chhattisgarh as the power house of the country is also increasing manifold.
He said that our country has to develop. This work will be done only when every countryman has equal participation in development. We have to fulfill the energy needs of the country and also take care of our environment. With this thinking, the closed coal mine in Surajpur district has been developed as a tourism. Work is being done to develop similar eco park in Korba area also.
The PM further said that today thousands of people are getting the facility of irrigation and drinking water from the water released from the mines. The people of the tribal community of this area are directly benefiting from all these efforts. My resolve is to protect forests and land and also open new avenues of prosperity through forest wealth. Today lakhs of tribal youth are getting the benefits of Van Dhan Vikas Yojana. This year the world is also celebrating Millets Year. How big a market our millets can create in the coming year. This means that on one hand the tribal tradition of the country is getting a new identity and on the other hand, new paths of progress are also opening up.
Sickle cell anemia can be controlled: PM
The counseling cards for sickle cell anemia have been distributed here today. That too is a great service especially to the tribal society. Our tribal brothers and sisters are most affected by sickle cell anemia. Together we can control this disease with the right information. We have to move forward with the resolve of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. The steps taken by the Government of India in the development journey of Chhattisgarh. Gift of railway projects
Earlier, PM dedicated railway projects worth Rs 6350 crore to the country. Also laid the foundation stone of 50 bedded Critical Care Block in 9 districts of Chhattisgarh. The third rail line between Pendra Road and Anuppur is 50 km long. It has been constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 516 crore. Also, the 98 km long third railway line between Champa and Jamga railway section has been constructed at a cost of about Rs 796 crore. The MGR system connecting Talaipalli coal mine to NTPC Lara Super Thermal Power Station is also included. The MGR system, built at a cost of over Rs 2070 crore, is designed to improve coal transportation from coal mines to power stations.
Foundation stone of the critical care block laid
The PM also laid the foundation stone of 50-bed critical care blocks in nine districts of Chhattisgarh. Under the Prime Minister-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, 9 Critical Care Blocks will be constructed in the districts of Durg, Kondagaon, Rajnandgaon, Gariaband, Jashpur, Surajpur, Surguja, Bastar and Raigarh at a total cost of Rs 210 crore.
India's Chandrayaan reached where no country in the world has reached

G-20 was organized successfully
The PM said, amidst these successes, India successfully organized the G-20 summit. The successful conference of G-20 is the result of the penance of every countryman. It is the result of the hard work of 140 crore Indians. Another important feature of G-20 was that the voices of small countries could not reach the global forums. For the first time, he got such a big participation in G-20. India has been able to do such great work today because of staying connected to its roots. Giving priority to those who are deprived is the priority of today's India. We fulfilled the dreams of the poor, the deprived, the Dalits and the backward tribals whose voices were suppressed.
Taunt on Congress government
PM said that the people of Chhattisgarh have had direct participation in making G-20 successful. You conducted a successful meeting of G-20 in Naya Raipur. Welcomed the guests nicely. Chhattisgarh has a wonderful culture. The food here has its own speciality. Chhattisgarh has been discussed all over the world. The pride here has increased. Taking aim at Congress, he said that there was a time when Chhattisgarh was identified with Naxalite violence. After the efforts of the BJP government, today Chhattisgarh is being recognized because of the development work done here. The BJP government is leaving no stone unturned for the development of Chhattisgarh, but the Congress government here is not doing any development work but is just talking. Ever since the BJP government came to power in Chhattisgarh, the state has suffered huge losses. The brothers, sisters and youth of Chhattisgarh are having to bear the loss due to this.
Congress government is not giving the benefit of PM residence
The PM said that the BJP government at the Center has given approximately 4 crore houses to poor families across the country in the last 9 years. We wanted that the poor families of Chhattisgarh should also get the benefit of PM Awas Yojana, but the Congress government is not allowing the poor of Chhattisgarh to build permanent houses. Be it women's welfare or PM Samman Nidhi Yojana, tap-water scheme or every scheme from poor welfare to youth skill employment, the government here did not allow the poor people of Chhattisgarh to get benefits.
Congress government is doing corruption even in cow dung
Taking aim at the cow slaughter scheme of Bhupesh government, PM Modi said that what will be the mentality of someone who indulges in corruption even in cow dung. Congress had promised the sisters of Chhattisgarh that they would ban liquor, but instead of banning liquor, Congress committed a scam in its sale. Chhattisgarh is a state so rich in mineral resources that the BJP government at the Center created the District Mineral Fund Scheme. In this, a part of the districts from which mineral wealth comes out should be spent for the development of this area. We wanted our tribal brothers and sisters to get maximum benefit from this, but the corrupt Congress government here did not leave this also.
