Cow dung will be painted in government buildings, CM Bhupesh issued instructions, action will be taken on violation

Cow dung paint has now been made mandatory in all government buildings in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has issued instructions regarding this. Also said that action will be taken against the officer who violates it. The Chief Minister has expressed displeasure over the use of chemical paint by the construction departments. Said that instructions have been given in this regard earlier also. He said that the use of cow dung paint would also be important from the point of view of strengthening the rural economy and environmental protection.
Women self-help group making paint
near Raipur Paint is being prepared from cow dung on behalf of women self-help group in Gothan of Hirapur Jarwai near Raipur. Presently 22 women work in the group. To innovate, he started the work of making paint from cow dung. He also took training for this. Paint making started from April 2022 and so far three thousand liters of paint have been made and sold by the women of the group. Cow dung paint is available in half litre, one, four and 10 liter cans.
Government is procuring cow dung and cow
urine Under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, the government is procuring cow dung at two rupees per kg in Gauthans. Vermi compost, super compost and other products are being made from this. Electricity production from cow dung and natural paint manufacturing have also been started. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 380 crore has been paid to cow dung vendors in the last two years. The income of the villagers has increased by purchasing cow dung and selling the products being prepared from it. The villagers will get more benefit from the use of cow dung paint.
Brahmastra and Jeevamrut made from cow urine
The state government has also started purchasing cow urine from this year under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. So far, 1 lakh 5000 liters of cow urine has been purchased from 96 Gauthans of the state for Rs 4 lakh 20 thousand. Women self-help groups have prepared organic products like 36 thousand 913 liters of insect controller 'Brahmastra' and 19 thousand 765 liters of growth enhancer 'Jivamrit' from the purchased cow urine. 'Brahmastra' worth Rs 13 lakh 64 thousand 771 and 'Jivamrit' worth Rs 5 lakh 98 thousand 464 have been sold so far.
