Delhi: Former AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria took voluntary retirement, there were still five months left

Dr. Randeep Guleria, former director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, has taken voluntary retirement (VRS) five months back. He served in AIIMS for nearly 30 years.
During this time he got an opportunity to work as a director. His term was extended twice. After stepping down from the post, he applied for VRS. His application has been approved. Dr. Guleria was retiring in April next year.
Let us inform that during the Corona epidemic, Dr. Guleria had run an awareness campaign in collaboration with the government. Guleria joined AIIMS as Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine in 1992 and formed the Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in 2011.
