After the matter came to the fore, the senior officers of the Department of Posts (Bihar Circle) are in a quandary. According to the Branch Post Office Not Login report, which came on July 13, the total number of branch post offices in the state on July 12 is 8068, but 2068 post office employees did not login.

In this way, about 26% of branch post offices are not open at all. According to the information, there are two employees in a branch post office. A Branch Postmaster and Assistant Postmaster are posted. In such a situation, 4000 workers are taking salary without work. According to officials, the department has equipped RICT devices to monitor and make the functioning of branch post offices transparent and report to the headquarters daily. According to the information, the worst situation is of the Northerners. It has eight divisions and 2824 branch post offices, but out of these, only 1086 post offices remained closed on 12 July.

There are total seven divisions in the central region. Under this there are 2106 branch post offices. But, 396 post offices did not open. There are total 9 divisions in the East region. It has 3138 branch post offices under it. Out of these, 604 post office employees did not login to the post office. A meeting was held in the branch post office regarding this, despite this there has been no improvement. According to the report of 19th July, out of 8068 branch post offices, 1664 branch post offices have not been logged by the employees. According to senior officials in this regard, then the matter is very serious. After checking the salary of the employees will be deducted and departmental action will also be taken.
