New Jim Corbett In Uttar Pradesh: The Yogi government is going to take a big step for the protection of the tourists and wildlife visiting the state. For this, there is a plan to develop the part of Uttar Pradesh adjoining Jim Corbett National Park. The government is going to run a campaign to protect the areas where tigers move. It is being considered to name this area 'New Jim Corbett'. Its objective is to provide a safe haven for the locally-variable wildlife population and to protect the unique forest area of ​​its kind.

In this regard, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions in a high-level meeting. It is expected to get the approval of the cabinet soon. This forest, spread over 80 square kilometers in Amangarh, Bijnor, will be made a tiger safari. This forest is associated with the Jim Corbett forest of Uttarakhand. In addition, it will also be linked to eco and Ganga tourism. Apart from this, facilities of world tourist destination will also be made available for the tourists here. With this, new employment opportunities will be available to the people at the local level.

The number of tigers in Uttar Pradesh is 173. Being a part of Jim Corbett, a large number of tigers are also present in this forest area. Along with tiger safari, tourists coming here will also enjoy many types of birds, flora, rivers, waterfalls, plains and mountains. Apart from this, tourists will also be able to see leopard, tiger and deer from close range. Apart from jungle safari, activities like elephant ride, camping, trekking can also be enjoyed in this area. A mahout will be arranged for an elephant ride. Trainers will be hired for camping and trekking. With this, tourists will be able to enjoy their trip with complete safety.

All arrangements will be made here for the tourists to stay. Along with government rest places with state-of-the-art facilities, private hotels will also be opened here. Apart from this, the government will also provide the facility of canteen for resort and food. Tourists coming to Amangarh will also get to enjoy Ganga tourism. Mahatma Vidur's Kuti, Balawali and Ganga Barrage of Bijnor are being included in the Ganga circuit. With this, tourists coming to Amangarh will be able to enjoy these places as well.

Amangarh is also included in the Yogi government's One District One Destination (ODOD) scheme. Under this, it will be linked to eco-tourism. With this, tourists will be able to spend their holidays on the banks of the forest, pool or lake. It will also be a very suitable place as a one-day-tour. Chief Minister Yogi believes that cultural, religious and forest tourism of UP will play an important role in making the state's economy one trillion dollars. In view of this, preparations are going on to develop this area anew.

Forest and Environment Minister in the UP government, Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena told that part of Jim Corbett Park comes in Amangarh. Considering naming it New Jim Corbett. Tigers roam a lot in this part. Therefore it is very important to protect them. That is why the government is working very fast in this direction. This will be approved in the cabinet. After that its blueprint will be ready. He said that India has been working towards tiger conservation for the last two decades. As a result of this, the number of tigers in the country has doubled in the last 8 years.

After Dudhwa, Pilibhit and Amangarh in UP, Ranipur of Chitrakoot has been declared as the fourth tiger reserve in the state. The Central Government has given the status of 53rd Tiger Reserve of the country to Ranipur Wild Sanctuary. Union Environment and Climate Change Minister Bhupendra Yadav has termed it as a meaningful initiative towards tiger conservation. India is known worldwide for tiger conservation, there were only 9 tiger reserves in the country in 1973, whose number has increased to 53 and Madhya Pradesh has the highest number of 526 tigers in the country.
