Intense heatwave conditions have engulfed several districts, including the capital Ranchi, in Jharkhand over the past 24 hours, leaving residents grappling with sweltering temperatures. With Baharagora recording the highest temperature at a scorching 45 degrees Celsius and Jamshedpur experiencing relatively cooler temperatures at 24.2 degrees Celsius, heatwave conditions have been reported in Baharagora, East Singhbhum, Bokaro, and Seraikela districts.

As Sunday's weather mirrors the blistering conditions of the previous day, Abhishek Anand, a scientist at the Ranchi Meteorological Center, emphasizes the need for heightened vigilance among residents. He warns against venturing outdoors between 12 PM and 3 PM, citing a staggering 90% probability of heatstroke during these hours. To address the ongoing heatwave, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in certain districts.

Under the red alert, districts such as Godda, Pakur, Sahibganj, Deoghar, Dumka, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Palamu, Gumla, Koderma, Giridih, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, and Seraikela are likely to experience severe heatwave conditions. Residents are urged to exercise caution, refrain from outdoor activities during peak hours, and ensure adequate hydration by drinking electrolyte water regularly.

Forecasting today's probable weather, temperatures are expected to soar across various districts:
