Bondi asks FBI to identify 'domestic terrorists' that go against American values
The U.S. Attorney requested that all those who resort to violence to threaten the country's values ??be located
The Justice Department has ordered the FBI to identify alleged “domestic terrorists” and create a list of targets and a cash reward system to incentivize Americans to report their alleged anti-American activities, the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday.
Attorney General Pam Bondi said that “domestic terrorists” resort to violence, or threaten it, to promote political and social agendas that go against American, capitalist, or Christian values, according to a memo dated December 4 obtained by the Los Angeles newspaper.
“Radical Left-Wing Criminal Groups”
The instruction comes after the creation of a new task force “against domestic terrorism” and “organized violence,” ordered by President Donald Trump, with the goal of pursuing what he called “radical left-wing” criminal groups.
The text, signed by the US president, comes after the death of the influencer Conservative Charlie Kirk, in September, asserted that the current political violence is the result of “sophisticated and organized campaigns of targeted intimidation, radicalization, threats, and violence, aimed at silencing dissenting voices, limiting political activity, influencing political decisions, and obstructing” the functioning of a democratic society.
Dismantling Networks Supporting These Groups
Trump’s order instructs the Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF) and federal agencies such as the Department of Justice and the Department of the Treasury to dismantle financing networks that support these groups.
Bondi’s memo notes that problematic “political and social agendas” could include “opposition to immigration law and enforcement, extreme views in favor of mass migration and open borders.”
The prosecutor has also called for the development of a reward system to encourage the public to report suspects.but it makes no reference to white supremacy.
