Chris Murphy, senator from Connecticut, believes it is possible that the names of some of his fellow Democrats will appear in the files of Jeffrey Epstein, leader of a child sex trafficking ring who ultimately committed suicide in his jail cell to avoid serving a long prison sentence.

It was recently approved that the Department of Justice (DOJ) must open the files related to the Epstein case within 30 days at the latest. The objective of this initiative is to discover the extent of the network of complicity that allowed the millionaire financier to sexually exploit minors. So far, the names of President Donald Trump and Democrats Larry Summers, former Secretary of the Treasury during Bill Clinton's presidency; Hakeem Jeffries, the minority leader, and Stacey Plaskett, the delegate from the Virgin Islands, have appeared in some documents from the controversial files. The first to disclaim any responsibility this week and direct all the pressure toward his opponents was the current president of the nation. "We have nothing to do with Epstein. The Democrats did; all of his friends were Democrats. I think many of the people we mentioned are being investigated very seriously for their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, but they were with him the whole time. I wasn't. Not at all, and we'll see what happens. This latest hoax will backfire on the Democrats, like all the others," he wrote on Truth Social. In an interview with CNN, Senator Chris Murphy downplayed the possibility that more of his fellow Democrats might be involved in what is projected to become a scandal. to be a scandal of enormous proportions.

“Surely there are Democrats in those files, there are Republicans in those files, there are Wall Street executives with no political affiliation. What we want is to understand who was involved in this.”For me, political affiliation doesn't matter. The law is the law," she emphasized. It should be noted that the only exception to the censorship of the files will apply to the disclosure of the victims' identities, this in order to avoid causing them further harm, since when they were sexually exploited, the vast majority were minors.
