“These last few days were very emotional for me. I have no words to thank the fans and everyone at the club.”
Modric doesn't regret joining Milan
At 40 years old, Modric affirms that he has no regrets about leaving and is happy with his arrival at AC Milan.
“After Real Madrid, wherever you go, it's a step down. That's undeniable. But I've come to a club whose history is very close to Real Madrid's. For me, it's the most ideal situation that could occur.”
The Croatian also recalled his admiration for Italian football since childhood and confessed that Milan was his favorite team in Serie A.
