What is Legacy Blue Check?

Under this, the accounts of Government, Companies, Brands and Organizations, News Organizations and Journalists, Entertainment, Sports and Gaming, Activists, Organizers and other Influencing Individuals were verified, but Elon Musk is now shutting it down. For legacy blue tick verification, you have to explain with proof why your account should be verified with blue tick. Now Elon Musk is promoting the blue subscription model by removing the legacy blue tick. Under Twitter Blue, users have to pay a fixed amount every month for Blue Tick. Twitter Blue subscription facility is currently not available in India.
Twitter users will be able to appeal if the account is suspended
Twitter has been known to suspend accounts. Thousands of people's Twitter accounts are suspended every day, although people have very little chance of appeal, but now Twitter is going to change it. Twitter has said that users whose accounts have been suspended will now be able to appeal to restore their accounts.
It is going to start from 1 February 2023. Apart from this, another big change is going to happen. Now the Twitter account will be suspended only if there is repeated violation of Twitter's rules and policies. These include promoting violence against a particular class, threatening someone, sharing illegal content, etc.
Company will share revenue with creators
Twitter's new owner has said that the company will share advertising revenue with content creators. Elon Musk has given this information by tweeting. Elon Musk has tweeted that the revenue from the ad that comes in the middle of the tweet thread or the ad that comes with the video will be shared with the content creator. It has started from 3 February 2023, but there is a condition that this facility is only for Twitter Blue subscribers.
