The number of people who lost their lives due to earthquake in Turkey and Syria is continuously increasing. According to the new figures, more than 15 thousand people have lost their lives so far. The number of injured has exceeded 80 thousand. A large number of people are still trapped under the debris. In such a situation, the number of dead and injured can increase manifold.

According to the report of the United States Geological Services (USGS), after 12 o'clock in the night, earthquake tremors occurred five times at different times between 7.14 am. Their intensity ranged from 4.4 to 4.5.
