A Hispanic woman from South Los Angeles pleaded not guilty to the federal charges she faces after claiming that she was kidnapped by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
Yuriana Julia Pelaez Calderon, 41, faces federal charges of conspiracy and making false statements to federal agents, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. Pelaez Calderon's trial date was scheduled for October 21 at her Friday hearing.
