Allahabad High Court has transferred judicial officers on a large scale. The High Court has also transferred 121 civil judges of the senior division. It also includes the name of Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar, who ordered the survey of the Varanasi Gyanvapi complex. Only last month, district and sessions judges and family court judges working in various district courts were transferred. Now a total of 619 judicial officers posted in different districts of the state have been transferred from one district to another.
Among the judicial officers transferred by the High Court, 285 judges of the rank of Additional District and Sessions Judge and 213 of the rank of Civil Judge Junior Division are also included. Let us inform that all the transferred judges will have to assume their charge by the afternoon of July 4. Earlier, by issuing a notification, the Allahabad High Court had transferred tribunals, in-charge of family courts, judicial officers of commercial courts, including district judges posted in different districts of the state from one district to another. Thereafter, judicial officers with a rank below that were transferred.
Civil Judge Ravi Diwakar, who ordered the survey of Kashi Gyanvapi Masjid in Varanasi, has been transferred to Bareilly. Now he will look after the charge of Civil (Senior Division) in Bareilly. Varanasi Civil Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar had earlier ordered a commission survey of the Gyanvapi disputed complex. At the same time, he had also received death threats during and after the hearing of this case. Ravi Kumar Diwakar is originally from Lucknow. He had joined as a civil judge in Varanasi about 2 years ago.
