The future electric SUV is born with a clear mission. MG wants to expand the Cyber family and transfer the sporty spirit of the Cyberster to a much more popular segment, betting on a model that combines a striking image with the practicality that most buyers are looking for.

Although details about its launch are still missing, the brand made it clear that the production version is already part of its plans and that it will retain a good part of the visual identity presented in the concept.
An SUV with sports inspiration
The influences of the MG Cyberster appear from the first glance. The Cyber Concept adopts a front with sharp lines, a muscular body and a silhouette that seeks to convey dynamism without giving up the functionality of a crossover.
One of the most particular details is the aerodynamic duct that runs through the front of the vehicle. This solution helps optimize air flow and increase the load on the front axle, a resource that is seen more frequently in high-performance sports cars.
The profile also breaks with what is usual within the segment. MG opted for an elongated hood and a cabin located further back, a configuration that gives it an appearance close to that of a grand tourer.
MG wants to create cars with personality
During the presentation, Jozef Kabaň, Vice President of Global Design at MG, explained the philosophy behind this new project: "Great design begins with people, not products. Technology and innovation are essential, but they can be shared; character, however, cannot."
The manager assured that the company's objective is to develop vehicles capable of arousing emotions and being easily recognizable, beyond technical specifications or technological advances.
This approach is reflected in the Cyber Concept, a model designed to offer a sporty driving experience without leaving aside the comfort and versatility necessary for daily use.
The next step for the Cyber family
MG has not yet revealed figures for power, range or battery capacity. He also did not confirm the date on which production will begin, although he did assure that the project is part of his short-term strategy.
The choice of Goodwood as the setting was not coincidental either. The United Kingdom continues to be one of the most important markets for the brand and the festival represents an ideal platform to showcase the vehicles that will shape its future.
If the final version maintains the essence of the prototype, MG will add a new electric SUV with a clearly differentiated proposal, consolidating the evolution that began with the launch of the Cyberster and expanding its presence in one of the most competitive segments of the automotive industry.
