A more accessible entry price
The base hybrid version, the 2026 RAV4 Hybrid LE FWD, starts at $31,900, a figure that represents a reduction of $950 compared to the previous year's entry-level hybrid model, which cost $32,850.
This adjustment is noteworthy considering the new features incorporated, as Toyota integrated its latest hybrid propulsion system, designed to improve the Fuel consumption and engine response in different driving situations.
In addition, the manufacturer confirmed that the 2026 model features a revised chassis to offer a more comfortable and stable ride, a point that adds to the long list of improvements in this update.
More standard technology and better equipment
Toyota also expanded the equipment in both design and practical functions. Among the most notable changes is the new, larger touchscreen that is now included in the LE trim, an improvement that was previously only available in higher trims.
In the XLE Premium trim, the brand incorporated a power liftgate, a feature highly requested by customers in this segment. Meanwhile, the Woodland edition receives the Multi-Terrain Monitor, a key tool for those seeking off-road adventures and needing assistance to navigate challenging surfaces.
Toyota also confirmed that the plug-in hybrid variant, known as the 2026 RAV4 PHEV, will have its own pricing, but this will be published later. The brand indicated that this information will be available in early 2026, as the model approaches its official launch date.
