The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) released the body camera videos of the officers involved in the shooting that killed the mascot of a resident who was celebrating the coronation of the New York Knicks on the night of June 13 in Canoga Park.
The videos (which contain scenes that some viewers may find disturbing) capture the moments before the shooting, when LAPD officers ask the dog's owner to restrain him.
LAPD officers responded to reports of a resident who called 911 about screams coming from a unit at an apartment complex on Jordan Avenue.
