A suspect was shot to death after stabbing a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) deputy Saturday afternoon in unincorporated Lancaster.
According to the LASD, a sheriff's deputy from the Lancaster Office responded to a call about a subject who was armed with two knives in the area of the intersection of Lancaster Boulevard and Sierra Highway.
When they arrived at the scene, the LASD said the suspect confronted the officer and stabbed him, an attack that prompted the sheriff's response, who shot the subject.
