Suspected of killing his wife and kidnapping 5-year-old daughter in Los Angeles would have fled to Mexico

A Hispanic man suspected of killing his wife in Los Angeles and kidnapping his 5-year-old daughter would have escaped to Mexico after the vehicle in which he escaped was found near the border.
Rubén Fregoso, 40, is wanted by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) on suspicion of kidnapping his daughter Daleza Fregoso, 4, and the murder of the girl's mother in the West Adams neighborhood.
As of Monday night, the CHP issued an Amber Alert after receiving a report from the LAPD regarding the disappearance of Daleza, who was last seen at approximately 4:00 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Alsace Avenue and Ferndale Street in the Arlington Heights neighborhood.
