Cazzu and Christian Nodal separated over a year ago, shortly after the breakup the singer married Angela Aguilar
More than a year after their controversial separation, Cazzu and Christian Nodal continue to make waves. This time, the Argentine singer opened the discussion on a sensitive topic: the support of their daughter, and her statements did not go unnoticed.
“It’s not what I consider fair”: Cazzu speaks without filters
During her arrival at the Mexico City Airport, Cazzu was intercepted by the press and, among other things, she spoke about the financial support that Nodal sends for her little girl. With a mix of frankness and serenity, the artist made it clear that, although the amount doesn't cover all of her two-year-old daughter's expenses, she has the ability to make up for that difference.
"We don't have an agreement that I consider fair because the expenses are high, but it's what he considers fair," she declared. However, she clarified that, unlike many single mothers, she is lucky enough to be able to afford everything her little girl needs.
While some celebrities would opt for a lawsuit to increase child support, Cazzu confessed that she doesn't have the energy or interest in taking on a court system that, in her words, remains "patriarchal."
"A legal battle with such a patriarchal family law system... honestly, right now I don't think I have the energy to choose that path. As long as I can support my daughter, I'm going to do it," she said.
Furthermore, the singer took the opportunity to normalize economic fluctuations, remembering that artists also go through financial ups and downs: "Sometimes I It's going better, sometimes I invest more than I have... We artists are like you." While Nodal enjoys his marriage to Angela Aguilar and has not responded to his ex's statements, Cazzu remains focused on her music. Recently, she filled the National Auditorium on her 'Latinaje' tour and couldn't contain her emotion when expressing her gratitude for Mexico's support: "I don't have enough words to thank the people who bought me tickets. I'm very happy, I hope I can travel all over Mexico.”
