Emiliano Aguilar revealed why he did not congratulate Pepe Aguilar on Father’s Day

Last week, Emiliano Aguilar, Pepe Aguilar's eldest son, generated controversy by not congratulating the singer on Father's Day and, instead, dedicating a message to Adrián Arce, his stepfather.

In a brief conversation with journalist Nelssie Carrillo, the rapper assured that he has no problems with his father and that he loves him very much, but he explained that his stepfather was the one who was there for me during the difficult times in his life.

“I don’t have any problems with my dad, I love him very much, but my stepfather is the one who has been there for me through thick and thin. He’s the one who has helped me since I was a kid, he’s been there since I was 10 years old,” he indicated.

This situation has generated tension in the Aguilar family. Leonardo Aguilar, the rapper's brother, criticized Emiliano for considering him ungrateful and having a short memory regarding the support that Pepe Aguilar gave him in difficult times.

For his part, Emiliano indicated that he does not care about the opinions or actions of his family, since he remains focused on his career and his own path.

“Unfortunately, that's why there wasn't the relationship I would have liked to have with my son. I tried to look for him, at first it was a little difficult to get her to lend him to me. I traveled from Mexico to Tijuana to see my son alone, back and forth,” he explained.
