Recently, Eugenio Derbez opened up to the media and confirmed that although he currently lives separately from his wife, Alessandra Rosaldo, this does not mean that his marriage is in crisis. The actor attributed the situation to work commitments that keep them in different places, but assured that they meet constantly.

After the statements, Derbez shared several images on Instagram with his family, including Rosaldo and his children Aislinn, Vadhir and José Eduardo.

Although the original photos were real, the altered versions quickly went viral, leading many to wonder which one was the real one. Derbez clarified that it was all a game on social media and that, despite the physical distance, their relationship remains strong.

In an interview with 'Sale el Sol', the comedian explained: "Yes, we live separately because she is working in Mexico and I am here, but we will soon get back together. It is something temporary for our projects."

In addition, he recalled that they were recently seen together at a public event, thus denying rumors of a possible permanent separation.

With this clarification, Derbez seeks to put an end to speculation and show that, despite the challenges of their schedules, their family remains united.

Alessandra talks about the most difficult moment with Eugenio

Throughout the years, the Mexican media has speculated –on several occasions– that the two would divorce, but despite all odds, they have been together for 12 years.

Because of this occasion, Alessandra Rosaldo opened up about the toughest times with her now-husband. She confessed that before they got married, they had a serious breakup, which led her to rethink several things, including attending therapy.

“That therapy led me to end my relationship with Eugenio. Thanks to months of therapy, I realized that everything was wrong: me in my relationship with Eugenio was wrong, the role I was playing was wrong, the one he was playing was wrong, the fact that we lived with Aislinn, the three of us together, was wrong. Everything was wrong. I was the lady of the house, but Aislinn was also the lady of the house. I felt very lost,” she said in the “Entre Hermanas” podcast.

She stated that she made the decision because she felt that Derbez was not willing to commit.

“He was not willing to get married and give me a family, which was my dream with him (…) Finally, I made the decision to say, I love this man with all my soul, but I have to let him go.” Some time later, they managed to reach an agreement and got married in 2012. They are both parents to Aitana Derbez.
