Laura Flores reveals through tears that Lalo Salazar blocked her after suffering a health crisis
In recent interviews, Laura Flores has revealed how difficult it has been for her to navigate her breakup with Lalo Salazar.
Actress and singer Laura Flores opened up in an emotional interview with Gustavo Adolfo Infante, where she shared the painful details of the unexpected end of her relationship with Televisa journalist Eduardo “Lalo” Salazar. Through tears, the artist confessed that the breakup occurred after a health episode that emotionally destabilized her.
As she explained, during an intimate moment with Salazar, she suffered a hypoglycemic attack, a condition she has struggled with for years. In the midst of the crisis, Laura described feeling anxious, confused, and experiencing alarming physical symptoms such as numbness in her hands and dizziness, which provoked an uncomfortable reaction from her then-partner.
“I told him: 'I need to eat, I don't want to faint.' I think I scared him because of how I said it. He replied: 'Yes, but don't yell at me.' I apologized, but he just walked away,” Flores shared, visibly affected.
After that incident, Laura never had contact with the journalist again. What hurt her the most, she said, was being blocked by all the media outlets, leaving her without a clear explanation for the distancing.
“I was blocked”
“I was very surprised. I was blocked. I don’t know what happened. I felt like I was in free fall,” she declared with a broken voice.
Despite the pain, the actress clarified that she is not looking to blame anyone and that she does not consider Salazar a “villain.” Rather, she accepts that both are human beings who react differently to unexpected situations.
“I didn't want to get married or anything, I was just looking for a beautiful place for my heart. But it didn't happen,” she concluded sadly.
On social media, Laura Flores also shared a melancholic message in which she reflected on couples who manage to overcome adversity, hinting that she is still trying to process what happened.
In addition to this interview, in other meetings with the Mexican press, Flores has let it be seen how difficult it has been for her to go through this breakup.
In fact, a few days ago, on her Instagram account she shared: “Eduardo is a great human being,a gentleman in every sense of the word. He deserves my respect and I will always be grateful to him for having made me happy, even though it lasted so little time (...) But in the heart, no matter how much one fights, nothing can be forced and I respect his decision to end our relationship."
The two made their relationship public on February 26, 2025 and after various rumors of a breakup, everything ended this June and it was the journalist's decision.
